A MESSAGE FROM OUR CHAIRMAN
I hope that you are all in good health.
It has been a wonderful start to the camping season, with everyone enjoying the lovely weather and making the most of being back on site. The atmosphere around the camp has been fantastic, and it is great to see so many members out and about enjoying themselves once again.
Our AGM was held recently and proved to be very successful. I am pleased to report that a full committee of twelve members was formed, along with the appointment of our Treasurer. Thank you to everyone that attended and supported the meeting, and especially to those who have volunteered their time to help the club continue to grow and run smoothly throughout the coming year.
Pat has been very busy arranging live entertainment for the main weekends of the season at Clapham, Duncton and Lancing College. A varied programme is being organised, which should provide plenty of enjoyment and entertainment for members and visitors alike.
We are all looking forward to some excellent weekends ahead, with good company, great music, and hopefully continued good weather.
Many of our older members, I'm sure will be pleased to hear, we are thrilled to share that Gordon & Shirley Bonner, after decades of loyal support, are still attending and enjoying their camping adventures with West Sussex DA. They have attended every one of our Meets this season, and it has been wonderful to see their continued enthusiasm and joy of camping with us.
SOUTHERN REGION
DINNER & DANCE 2025
This weekend we joined our Southern Region colleagues for the Annual Dinner & Dance in Farnborough, Hants. To quote our Chairman “we scrub up well!” and to be honest it was really nice to get dressed up! We had a really fabulous evening, wonderful food, great company and let’s just say we did West Sussex DA proud!
