The Camping and Caravanning Club in the UK is split up into 13 Regions and in turn 93 District Associations (DA’s), of which we are West Sussex!
We offer cost effective and affordable camping Meets and THS’s exclusively for any current members of the CCC, whether you are a member of West Sussex or not, all are invited, and you will be greeted with a warm and friendly welcome from like minded campers. Its a great way to meet new friends (or catch up with old ones!) whilst spending time at (often) exclusive sites to which the public are not normally allowed to camp.
Why pay circa £40+ a night plus on a commercial site when you can camp with a DA for £10-£15 a night for a couple, including children! Meet sites don’t have as many facilities (Shower Blocks, electric hook up etc.) but think slightly outside the box (e.g. solar panels for power) and you don’t always need (or use) the facilities offered, and that you are paying towards.
Your Camping and Caravanning Club Membership automatically enrols you in your local DA, based on the postcode of your membership.
Its not just all about camping though, with most meets (and weekends on THS’s) having various social events arranged, to which you invited to join in. We run quizzes, have boules, darts and other competitions, organise walks around the local area (which normally ends or goes via a pub!), have live bands on at our flagship Lancing THS, cookery competitions, organise meals and coffee mornings amongst other things, and some of our meets have fishing facilities on site.
If you want a quiet weekend away from the hum drum of the daily grind, or prefer to catch up and socialise, we can accommodate you.
