Welcome to 2018

Our 2018 meets listing is now live! so get your diaries out and book out your weekends for cost effective camping, DA Style!

We have a few vacancies for Stewarding a meet! If you want to help out, please contact sitesec@westsussexda.com and let Val know. If you have never Stewarded before, we can give you training or of you want to see what its all about, ask one of the stewards or committee on a meet and we will be more than happy to show you and give you a few pointers!

Our AGM will be during the first meet of the year at Easter to which all members of West Sussex DA are invited. This is your chance to meet the committee and put your views across, or if you want, potentially join the committee and help run your club!

First Meet of the Year! – WSDA New Year Meal

We are holding our annual first gathering of the New Year at The Old Tollgate, The Street, Bramber. BN44 3WE following the popularity of the venue last year.

Friday, January 12th 2018
Meeting in the Function Room @ 7pm for 7.30pm

Three courses for £21 per person.

We look forward to seeing you in the New Year however numbers are limited so would suggest to respond quickly so as not to be disappointed .

Sending Pat full payment of £21.00 per person by Sunday 10th December will secure a booking.

THE CARVERY RESTAURANT.
The popular Carvery Restaurant offers an amazing choice of dishes using the finest of local, seasonal produce sourced from specially chosen suppliers. The menu features our famous hors d’oeuvres cold table and hot starters, followed by the carvery style main course which includes casseroles, fish and vegetarian options in addition to the selection of succulent roast meats. Make sure you check out the hot and cold desserts before you start your meal so you can save enough room to enjoy these delicious choices.

As its a Carvery, those with food intolerances can make suitable choices on the evening.

Halloween Muntham House School

Thank you to everyone who came out to help us celebrate Halloween at Muntham House School, Barns Green. Although this was only three days we had a great turn out, and nearly ran out of room!

Muntham House School looked fantastic on the autumnal sunshine, and it allowed us to sit outstayed and catch some rays while catching up with friends.

The Saturday Night party, hosted an American Supper with oodles of tasty treats, excellent costumes, spooky games, carved pumpkins and a bit of a boogie! From the comments on our Facebook page, everyone had a great time, and we (especially Julie who has been trying to get a Halloween meet together for some time!) want to say thank you to all of you who came along!

As this was the last of our meets this year, the Committee would also like to say thank you to everyone who has come away with us this year, weather it be virtually every meet or just one night. Keep an eye out for our end of year celebrations and next years camping dates to put in your diary!

Dyke Farm, Pulborough,

 

A fantastic meet which had entertainment galore. More to follow on this.

Lovely Farm Shop on site selling fresh produce.
Bus stop outside the site.
Regrettably the lake is out of action for fishing due to the amount of weed.

The Marquees will be erected for some social evenings and dare I mention, someone’s birthday party Bank Holiday.
